Compact Ride-On Floor Removal

The National Flooring Equipment 5700 is one of National's most popular ride-on floor scrapers. It is designed to remove both hard and soft flooring materials while remaining compact enough for jobs where access and manoeuvrability are important.

At approximately 62 cm wide, the 5700 is narrow enough to fit through many standard residential doorways, helping contractors move between work areas without sacrificing the productivity of a ride-on machine.

The machine is powered by twelve AGM 180 amp-hour batteries and uses hydraulic steering for responsive operator control. A wide range of compatible tooling allows the machine to be configured for different flooring materials and removal conditions.

Common Questions

5700 Ride-On Scraper FAQs

What is the 5700 designed to remove?

The 5700 is designed for both hard and soft goods. Suitable tooling can be selected for materials including carpet, VCT, hardwood, tile, coatings and other flooring materials.

Will the 5700 fit through a doorway?

The machine is approximately 62 cm wide, making compact access one of the 5700's key advantages compared with larger ride-on scrapers. Always confirm the actual doorway clearance before moving the machine.

What is the difference between the 5700 and 7700?

The 5700 is narrower and lighter. The 7700 is wider, heavier and faster, making it particularly suited to demanding removal and larger open commercial areas.

Can the 5700 remove hard flooring?

Yes. National Flooring Equipment specifies the 5700 for both hard and soft goods. Performance depends on selecting suitable blades, shanks and other tooling for the material being removed.

What blade or tooling should I use?

Tooling selection depends on the flooring material, adhesive, substrate and site conditions. Your local Syntec representative can help select suitable tooling.
